SMTL operates from its registered office in Vadodara. It has two manufacturing units in Vadodara, Gujarat (India). The plants are equipped with a full range of manufacturing machines required to produce machine tools.  The plants are divided into several key areas: The Heavy machining area, Precision grinding area, Scrapping and Assembly, Paint Room, Quality Control, Stores, Administrative Offices, and Engineering.
